Class Expecations
Class Expectations
Student expectations include: (1) completing homework assignments one time per week; (2) remembering their speech folders on their scheduled therapy days; (3) practicing "good" speech behaviors at least within the therapy sessions and eventually in all environments.
Parent expectations include: (1) supporting the efforts of the speech/language pathologist at home; (2) reminding their children to complete their weekly speech assignments; (3) and to practice and reinforce "good" speaking habits with their child every day.
Staff expectations include: (1) referring children who may benefit from speech services; (2) cooperating and releasing children when scheduled; (3) attending state-mandated meetings (i.e. identification meetings, eligibility meetings, and annual reviews) as scheduled; (4) and reinforcing "good" speaking habits in the classroom.
